TEMPEL RESIDENCY

From the 22nd until the 26th we were active as a residency at Tempel, a makerspace and hotbed of creativity. Tempel used to be a conference building for the Esotoric School of the Theosophical Society in The Netherlands. We were granted to use the center area as a stage for our performance. All of us, bar one, are students at HKU, department Music & Technology. 

Within 5 days, we developed and created an audiovisual piece, with the Theosophical religion serving as inspiration. What followed was a 40 minute performance consisting of multiple sound sources utilizing multiple techniques, digital and analogue. Live controlled visuals and lights were projected on the walls, complimenting the architecture of Tempel.

We were pretty lucky to have our performance on the last day before the third lockdown went into effect, in front of an audience of about 60 people.
